People Inc. – New Employee Directory for Employee Self Service Module

Introduction

The recent update to the People Inc. ESS (v4.1) provides a number of new features to enhance the functionality of the ESS Module. These include:

  • Team dashboard
  • Scheduler
  • Directory
  • Absence Request wizard
  • Training Matrix*
  • ESS Absence Pack (includes: Holiday Sale, Toil Requests, Late notifications) *

The New Employee Directory

The new Employee Directory is a new feature that can be access directly from the ESS Home Page and provides an easy to use company phone directory that also shows staff availability.

New People Inc. Employee Directory

 

Employee contact information is taken directly from the employee’s record within People Inc. and their availability is determined based on their Absence Records (Blue represents Available, Pink represents Unavailable)

Employees can also manually update their current availability using the Status toolbar if they are away from their desk so that other employees can check to see if you are available or not.

Where can I get the new Employee Directory?

The Employee Directory for People Inc. ESS is an add-on that is provided with the latest release of the Employee Self Service module and is available to all customers using People Inc. (an ESS licence maybe required).
