Staffordshire based drug and alcohol rehabilitation centre implements People Inc. HR

Background

Our Client, a drug and alcohol rehabilitation centre based in Staffordshire, provides second to none, person-centred care for all their service users, including inpatient detoxification, residential rehabilitation, semi-independent recovery housing and recovery services in the community.

They approached us in 2017 after a recommendation from one our existing customers, looking for an affordable and flexible HR System for their 60+ staff as their existing Sage HR software would not work fully on recent versions of Microsoft Windows and Office.

Requirements

They urgently needed to replace their Legacy HR system with a stable and secure HR System that provided functionality to meet their main requirements. This included:

• Import their existing data from Sage HR and Spreadsheets
• Centrally store all employee related information and documentation securely.
• Reduce administrative time and costs caused by manual processes
• To be able to record and analyse absence information.
• Manage employee Training records to ensure compliance
• Keep track of all HR related Actions/Tasks
• Wanted to record regular supervision meetings for staff
• Track DBS information
• Record Disciplinaries
• Record and track inspections.
• Generate Reports for Audits.

Implementation

Using the tools and functionality that People Inc. HR as well as our 20 years experience helping customers with their HR Software needs we were able to quickly import all of their data and configure People Inc. HR to meet their requirements.

The Implementation took place September 2017 and took 2 chargeable days spread over a couple of weeks. This included Data import, system configuration and end user training.

As part of the implementation we also customised People Inc. HR to facilitate the recording and tracking of DBS information as well as regular supervision meetings required in order to meet their compliance obligations.

In recognition of the services Burton Addiction Centre Ltd provides as a registered charity we were able to offer a 20% discount of the costs of implementing People Inc. HR
