YouManageHR Implementation for North West Full-Fibre Telecoms Provider

Our customer is a telecoms company based tasked with the roll out of affordable full fibre networks in the North West of England.

As a new rapidly growing business with initially 50 employees, they were looking for a HR System that would allow them to manage their employee data and provide self service functionality to reduce admin. They were also looking for a scalable solution that would cope with their predicted rapid growth over the next few years.

They contacted PeopleFirstHR after a recommendation from a company who we had worked with on their Legacy HR System several years ago.

The sales process was very straight forward and the costs were well within budget. The HR Manager liked the look of YouManageHR and was keen to implement as soon as possible.

As part of the implementation, Data Import templates were provided for their HR Team to Populate. The Data was then imported into YouManageHR by one of our data specialists.

We configured the YouManageHR system with their Company Hierarchy, Work Patterns and Entitlements based on the information provided to ensure a speedy implementation and roll out.

Training was provide to HR team comprising of 4 x 2-hour sessions quickly getting them up to speed with the System Administration and HR Administration of YouManageHR.

The implementation started and and the system rolled out in April 2021 and took 2-3 days spread over a couple of weeks.

Implementing YouManageHR had an immediate impact on the business and the HR Team. Overnight time spent on repetitive admin tasks was slashed particularly in the processing of absence and holiday requests. This freed up the HR Team to be able to provide a more strategic role for the business rather than just providing an admin support service.

Later the same year they rolled out the Astute e-Learning Platform to their staff through our partnership with Vinci Works and due to the connectivity between Astute and YouManageHR.

In 2022 they implemented the Performance and Development Module for YouManageHR to enable them to streamline their processes relating to Performance Reviews whilst improving their completion rates.

In 2024 we were able to import an additional 90 active employees and 140 Archived records due to a business expansion.
