YouManageHR Employee Surveys

YouManageHR provides an Employee Surveys module as standard, enabling your organisation to collect feedback relating any number of topics, that can be used as a strategic resource to drive meaningful change within the organization.

Managing Employee Surveys

The Employee Survey module in YouManageHR allows you to quickly and easily create as many employees’ surveys as required. These are completely customisable and can be shared with different groups of employees based on their Department, Location, Level etc.

All surveys can be managed centrally within the system and the status and number of responses can be clearly seen from the Survey dashboard.

Creating an Employee Survey

Creating Employee Surveys couldn’t be easier. Existing Surveys can be cloned and edited, or new ones can be created from scratch using the Editor tool.

Questions can be configured in different formats, Text Box, Multiple Choice (single or multiple answers), Star Rating or a larger comments box.

Changes are saved automatically as draft surveys until you are ready to share these with employees. You can also preview the Survey to check how it will look to the employees once shared.

Sharing (Publishing) Surveys

Once you have completed the survey, it can be quickly shared to employees. You can select which groups to include when sharing the Survey, such as by Department, Location or Job Level for example.

This means you can create targeted surveys aimed at specific groups, for example just for managers.

Once shared the selected group of employees will receive an email notification asking them to complete the survey (with a link). A task will also appear in their Task List asking them to Complete the Survey (via their Self Service portal).

Completing a Survey

The employee can simply click on the link on the email notification or click the ‘Complete Survey’ task in their task list to access and complete the survey.

The employee simply completes the questions on the survey before clicking the Submit button at the bottom of the survey.

Responses are then recorded anonymously.

Analysing the results of an Employee Survey

As surveys are completed the Survey dashboard updates the number of responses in real time.

Additionally, the responses can be analysis at any point via a Survey Report which again shows results in real time.

The statistics for questions such as ratings, or multiple-choice questions can be displayed in 4 different formats, Line Chart, Bar Chart, Pie Chart or table.

For text questions, the responses are displayed in a list.

Survey responses are completely anonymous enabling employees to provide honest answers to questions and ensuring you get a true understanding of your employee’s genuine feedback about the topic of the survey.

Employee Surveys are a powerful tool that is provided as standard with YouManageHR, saving the need and expense for purchasing a separate tool.

They are easy to use and quick to create. Surveys can quickly be shared with your employees by group allowing you to create targeted surveys aimed a selection of employees such as ones based at a specific location or Department.

If used well, employee surveys are more than just a tool for collecting feedback; they are a strategic resource that can drive meaningful change within an organization.
